The Pole Saw has convenience features that include a lateral chain tensioner with a single stud for efficient chain retention and a captured bar nut that is retained in the sprocket cover for easier setup and maintenance. There is also a translucent bar oil tank with a large opening that aids in adding oil and keeping the bar properly lubricated. Additional features include Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT®), which electronically turns off the motor if the rotation of the attachment is suddenly forced to stop. Durability features include Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) for improved dust and water resistance, and IPX4 weather-resistant construction. XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries.
